my other assignment took me to a concert hall. i've been photographing classical music concerts for years actually since i graduated from one of the music schools in jakarta.

as a classical music lover myself, i used to study at a piano conservatory. i've been through hours and hours of practicing and facing countless stage frights before giving concerts or playing in competitions. of course, now, that was thing in the past though sometimes i really miss playing serious piano pieces. haven't been practicing for years, my fingers are getting stiff and though my fingers' motoric senses are still inside them, it takes countless hours for my fingers to get back at the level of playing i used to have.

the time passes. taking pictures for classical music concerts are the closest thing i could be with the music i grew up with. for sure, the passions of bach, beethoven and chopin are still burning inside.
