reality bites

the turn of the event this late afternoon took me to the neo-natal intensive care unit in one of the children hospitals in the city.

nothing or no one can prepare me for the shock i felt witnessing the low-lit room with incubator boxes line up neatly in a row. there you can see tiny bodies attached with all kinds of survival equipments and monitors you can think of where i saw (in horror) a baby with a deform face (bless his heart) and a tiny surviving body of used to be triplets (passed away the minutes i left the hospital -- bless his soul).

in many occasions, i've visited the intensive care units or the emergency rooms. but still, a neo-natal intensive care unit will break your heart for sure.

babies are precious. they are God's gifts to the parents.

i know Baby Bradley will hang tough to be a healthy one.

My topmost favorite feeling is to see new born babies. I like to touch their soft skin, I like to breathe their wonderful baby smell, I like to see their innocent faces. Seeing them sleeping peacefully somehow calms my heart.

But, seeing those tiny little babies with their innocent, heavenly faces struggling for life... you're right iman.. it will break our heart for sure.

Best of wishes for Baby Bradley.

Babies more like an angel borrowed from heaven, just looking at them will make our heart attached on them..best wishes for the baby.

i find myself wishing for having just a tiny bit of power to be able to help.

but as powerless as we are, we can always sit down, patiently waiting and praying to God...

give them strength to fight for their lives.

a quote from a Utah mother, whose 11 year old went missing for four days and was finally found alive:
"heaven is close, our prayers are answered"

keep praying... for each and every prayer has its own power.
